What comes to mind when you hear the word 'friend'? Friends are like family we choose for ourselves! Believers need friends who share their faith in Jesus, and can help them grow in Him. God's leading, timing, and His circumstances, can divinely connect you to friends.

True friends are a gift from God. But, there still may be times when you feel alone. If you have put your faith in Jesus and your eternal security rests in Him, you always have a friend that sticks closer than a brother. You have Jesus for your best friend, and it's Forever! Your friendship will grow as you walk with Him, talk to Him, and study His Word. He is your truest friend. He will never leave you. You can share everything with Him, even your secrets, and He will do the same with you. He is there 24/7. Cherish His friendship, nurture it, and Never let it go! 

John 15:14-15 says if we walk in obedience, Jesus calls us His Friend! Love Him with All of your heart, place Him First, others second, and yourself last in all you do. Strive to be a blessing to others. It will boomerang back to you! One Simple Act of Kindness, prompted by The Holy Spirit in you, has the Power to change someone's life! Walk in obedience. Do not fear the outcome. Let God use your life for His Good. The ripples of your life will not be apparent until you get to Heaven. Be Bold! Be Great! Be Grateful! Be Blessed! Go out there and change someone's life!

Querido Padre Celestial,

I thank you for the many friends you have brought into my life. Thank you for the opportunity to love and be loved. Lord help me to honor and treasure my friends. Help me to serve them selflessly and shine your light, that together we may all draw closer to you. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
