Today's verse takes us on a journey of self-discovery and perseverance. Lets, ponder on this thought for a moment, we really do not know what we can accomplish in Jesus unless we really try to achieve what we might deem ourselves incapable of doing. 

James 3:13 says, “Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom.”

Through the book of proverbs, we learn the value of biblical wisdom, throughout the word of God we are encouraged and challenged to step up to the plate and swing for the heavens metaphorically speaking. 

Proverbs 16:7 teaches us to choose the wisdom of a humble heart, that understands that walking in line with God's word, is well worth the effort. 

As today's verse says, when a man’s way is pleasing to the Lord, He makes even his enemies be at peace with him. What a wonderful way to live our lives in peace with God and in peace with mankind. Proverbs 19:8 says, “The one who gets wisdom loves life; the one who cherishes understanding will soon prosper.”

Today let us make an effort, to rise above our challenges to walk in line with God's wonderful word, honoring God with all we have. Practicing biblical principles daily will transform our lives and our outlook one step at a time.

Querido Padre Celestial,

We humbly come before Your throne of mercy and grace, knowing that life is a daily challenge, but with You Lord, all things are possible. Our expectation is high because we are encouraged through Your Word to seek You and when we seek You, we will find You. Fill our hearts with Your promises, to walk each day in obedience to Your will and Word. Help us take up our cross and follow You just as we are. Because in our weakness You are strong, in our struggles You are the solid rock in which we can stand. We thank You Lord Jesus, for giving us the strength and tenacity to live a life worth living. In the Name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged today to read a chapter of the book of proverbs each day, ponder on how to apply each life principle found in your daily reading in a practical way. Very soon, you will find yourself amazed at what God can do in you, and through you. Remember wisdom is a journey, which means we need to take one step at a time to get where we need to be in our walk in Christ Jesus.
