Being a witness of the gospel is not an easy calling. At times, we face backlash from those we care about the most, and we may be labeled as intolerant and judgmental. However, we must remember that these are merely tactics of the enemy aimed at silencing God's people. We cannot succumb to his schemes, which seek to kill our purpose and extinguish our passion. Jesus endured the most ridicule of all, yet he did not allow it to diminish his passion for us or undermine his mission of bringing salvation to the world.

When we reflect on the history of the church, we see that many fellow Christians have endured horrific torture and even death for their witness. In contrast, we sometimes complain about false accusations against us. We must not allow the enemy to deter us from serving as God's witnesses. As we strive to deepen our relationship with the Lord through worship, the study of His Word, and intimate, fervent prayers, we should grow in boldness for the sake of winning souls for the Kingdom of God.

Querido Padre Celestial,

I enter Your gates with thanksgiving, and I enter Your courts with praise (Psalm 100:4). I am honored to serve You by carrying out the great commission, proclaiming the wonderful gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Lord, grant me the wisdom to speak the complete truth of Your Word as I proclaim the gospel message, both through my actions and words. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen

Are you hesitant to share the gospel? Do you shy away from telling others about Christ because you fear offending them? Or are you willing to face opposition for the sake of the gospel? As you draw closer to the Lord, ask Him to reveal those whom you can reach for His Kingdom. Then resolve to sow the seeds of His word into their lives whenever you feel His prompting.
