Trust God Through Trials

2 Corinthians 11:21-27 (NIV)
“To my shame I admit that we were too weak for that! Whatever anyone else dares to boast about—I am speaking as a fool—I also dare to boast about. Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they Abraham’s descendants? So am I. Are they servants of Christ? (I am out of my mind to talk like this.) I am more. I have worked much harder, been in prison more frequently, been flogged more severely, and been exposed to death again and again. Five times I received from the Jews the forty lashes minus one. Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was pelted with stones, three times I was shipwrecked, I spent a night and a day in the open sea, I have been constantly on the move. I have been in danger from rivers, in danger from bandits, in danger from my fellow Jews, in danger from Gentiles; in danger in the city, in danger in the country, in danger at sea; and in danger from false believers. I have labored and toiled and have often gone without sleep; I have known hunger and thirst and have often gone without food; I have been cold and naked.”
Devoción
If we only serve God only for what He gives us, how weak will our faith be? What will remain if God allows Satan or his agents to attack everything you have taken years to build? Where will your faith in God be? If hardship will work to tempt our hearts from God, we are at risk that our hearts will grow hard and we will curse God when we never thought we would. Watch out to not fall into Satan’s temptations. Have the courage and the strength of Job to resist and bless God in those moments of testing.
When the weapon is formed against you, bless God. When the devils take away everything that you get, bless God. When you are humbled, humble yourself before the Lord. Jesus said blessed are the poor in spirit, for the kingdom of heaven is theirs. In the victory, too, bless God.
It can be especially hard when those you love are not there to support you or even encourage you to turn away from God. But Jesus is the friend who sticks closer than a brother. He will also be there in the pain, agony and suffering time. When you are lost, search for God.
If God let you walk through tribulations, know that He is still God and He has a plan for you. Only He knows what lies ahead. If you stand and trust Him no matter what is going on in your life, you will be rewarded. In prison, love God, in grieving, love God, in every situation, love God.
Let us heed the lessons from Paul's words and the timeless wisdom of Scripture. May we not falter in our faith when faced with trials, but instead stand firm, knowing that God's plan surpasses our understanding. Let our love for Him endure through every circumstance, for in our darkest moments, He remains our steadfast companion. As we navigate life's tribulations, may our unwavering trust in God's sovereignty be our anchor, guiding us to the ultimate reward of His eternal grace and blessings.
Oración de hoy
Querido Padre Celestial,
Thank You for the example of Paul who underwent so many sufferings for Jesus and the gospel. Please forgive me for all my whining and help me to resist this temptation in the future. Help me yield to Your character development and Your discipline so that I can bear up under similar trials and sufferings as Paul, should that ever be Your will. And through it all, help me be a conduit of Your hope and comfort to those around me in their trials. In the Name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Some of the believers in Jesus are under great pressure today. If you are one of those, may God put His Holy Angels around to guide you through the valley. Today, let us take some time to pray not only for ourselves but also for those we know who are facing great difficulty at this time. Come quickly, Lord Jesus.
