Treasure The Old, Bring Forth The New

Isaiah 42:9 (NLT)
“Everything I prophesied has come true, and now I will prophesy again. I will tell you the future before it happens.”
Devoción

In his message on Sunday, Pastor Jentezen emphasized that the new will spring forth from the old. We must treasure the old to bring forth the new. Today’s verse says that because the old prophecies have come to pass, we should expect the new prophecies to come to pass as well. Prophecies and visions are not a one-time event, accomplished once and never to happen again..

God continuously wants to have new promises come forth using His completed promises as the backdrop of assurance of what a mighty and powerful God we serve. So often it is necessary for us to cling to the prophecies that we have witnessed come to pass in our lives to continue to believe for the new, and sometimes more amazing prophecies to come true in the now and the future. So today let us be grateful for those things God has brought to pass in our lives while believing for more miraculous things to come forth in the new.

Oración de hoy

Querido Padre Celestial,
We thank You for the fulfillment of Your promises in our lives. You are a faithful God who never fails to bring Your Word to pass. As we remember Your faithfulness, we open our hearts to receive the new promises You have for us. Strengthen our faith to trust in Your timing and Your ways. Help us to treasure the past and expect greater things in the future, for You are a God of abundance and new beginnings. In the Name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
