Just as he crossed over Penuel the sun rose on him, and he limped on his hip. Therefore to this day the children of Israel do not eat the muscle that shrank, which is on the hip socket, because He touched the socket of Jacob’s hip in the muscle that shrank.
Devoción
Have you ever gone through something so profound that you became marked by it? Do you ever feel it isn’t fair? What if God allows you to go through these times so you learn to fully depend upon Him? Yes, you may get a few scars along the way, but they are proof that you survived the battle and have kept your focus on Him.
Never lose hope. Keep depending upon Him and remember He will neither leave you nor forsake you. God is more than able to meet all your needs because He is more than your Provider, He is also your Creator and Sustainer. Remember that He will never fail you. Hold tightly to Him.

Querido Padre Celestial,
I thank you that I was fearfully and wonderfully made by Your hands. Sometimes I feel like life treats me unfairly, but I ask that during those times You would help me to totally surrender my life and the outcome of the situation to You. Amen.
