Luke 9:15
And they did so, and made them all sit down.
Devoción
When it’s time to sit, generally it's time to fellowship over a meal with family, friends, or sometimes yourself. Jesus in Luke 9 used the table of fellowship to perform a miracle.
It’s good to take a pause, sit down with family, friends or strangers in fellowship, reflecting on the goodness of God.
Sometimes Jesus invites you to have one on one fellowship with him without any outside distractions. In this alone time, he speaks through scripture, encouraging books and songs of worship. From these experiences we are given spiritual nourishment, miracles happen and we grow to become more like our Savior.
The quality of any relationship is determined by the quality time invested. So today, go into a room and enjoy one on one fellowship with Jesus.
Oración de hoy
Querido Padre Celestial,
Thank you for extending an invitation for me to spend quality time with you. Teach me to be still. Like a good shepherd, lead me beside still waters. Quiet my soul and help me focus completely on you in joyful meditation. Amen!

When distracted, re-engage. When you notice that you lost focus in prayer, refocus. Run back to God. It’s not as complicated as we think.
