The Victory Is Mine

John 10:10 (NKJV)
“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
Devoción

The devil comes to take. The devil is a thief, a bully and an accuser of the brethren. Jesus gave us the devil’s method of operation; so, we would know not to underestimate him, yet at the same time not to be intimidated by him. We are never called to fight the devil, but to fight the good fight of faith, therefore we submit to God, resist the devil, and he shall flee from us. (James 4:7)

Jesus gave not only life, but abundant Life. He is full of life, the kind that is vibrant, fresh, robust in health and infused with energy. Jesus gives us minds that are clear, sharp, and keen, our youth is renewed like the eagle’s. (Psalm 103:5) In him is the gift of life and the very air we breathe. With this new life that we have in Jesus, he gives us our vision, so we may run as heralds. (Habakkuk 2:2)

Jesus died to give us life, and then resurrected to solidify the win. The abundant Life Jesus gave us will serve us well in this life and the one coming.

The song writer wrote, “If I hold my peace, let the Lord fight my battles, if I sing and shout, have faith and not have doubt, victory shall be mine.”

Jesus said, “I have come to give you life and give it to you more abundantly.” (John 10:10) You will see the victory in your situation. The Father is saying to you beloved, “I am going to see your victory” as He sings over you with songs of deliverance!

Oración de hoy

Querido Padre Celestial,
As I read today’s devotional, I am reminded of those many blessings which You have bestowed upon me. For those and so many others, Lord, I offer You a sacrifice of praise. It may sound trite, but truly, if You never did anything else for me, I would still owe You my life in sacrificial service to honor You. But, as Your Word says, Jesus came to give me a life of abundance, the greatest of which is a relationship with You. I am humbly honored, Father. In the Name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

In your quiet time with God today, read Habakkuk 2:1-3, and seek His vision for your life. After a time of worship and pouring your heart out to Him, sit in silence and seek to hear His promptings. Write down and date anything you may hear Him speaking to your heart.
