The Triumph Through the Trial
Monday, November 3
Mark 11:2 (NLT)
““Go into that village over there,” he told them. “As soon as you enter it, you will see a young donkey tied there that no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here.”
Devoción
Sometimes the very thing pressed on us carries the purpose of God. What the enemy intended to destroy, God intended to develop. Before He allows the trial, the Father filters the heart. He is assessing, refining, reminding: I will use this for My glory. I will use this for your good.
The donkey that carried Jesus served the path to the cross, and the cross led to the resurrection. So what looks like defeat becomes the soil for triumph. What feels like delay becomes the stage for deliverance. Everything is Father-filtered. Everything works together for good and for His greater glory (Romans 8:28).
In this world, you will have trouble (John 16:33), but higher than the trouble is the joy set before Him, and through Him, before you. Because you are not simply surviving the trial, you are stepping into the promise. You are bearing the image of Christ in the fire. You are being forged. You are being formed. You are being made.
The greater glory in what is used against you is that it may shape you. It may reveal Jesus through you. You may not avoid the storm, but you can trust the Hand that guides you through it.
So if you feel pressed, remember: God is not absent. He is present. And He is setting you up to be more like His Son, Jesus, that your life will reflect Christ, that it carries His name, that it lives His purpose.
“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.” (Romans 8:18)
Oración de hoy
Querido Padre Celestial,
When the pressure comes, remind me that You are working, not against me, but for me. When I feel crushed by what was meant to harm me, help me lift my eyes to the glory You have prepared. Give me strength to trust Your filtering hand, and courage to walk the path You’ve set, even when it leads through suffering. May what’s against me become the stage of Your love in me.
May I live not just for relief, but for the revelation of Jesus in my life. In the Name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Every trial is an invitation to trust God’s purpose over your pain. Instead of asking “Why me?”, begin asking “What are You forming in me, Lord?” Let pressure become your place of partnership with God—where what was meant to break you becomes what builds you. When you surrender to His refining hand, you’ll find that even the hardest seasons carry the seed of triumph.
