Savor The Lord Our God
Joel 2:27-32 (NKJV)
“Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel: I am the LORD your God And there is no other. My people shall never be put to shame. “And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. “And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD. And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the LORD Shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, As the LORD has said, Among the remnant whom the LORD calls.”
Devoción
We serve a mighty God who keeps and fulfills His promises. Whatever He says is real and trustworthy. In these times, God’s Holy Spirit will be poured out. This is a year where we should have an expectant heart for more of God, to see and experience Him in new ways. We should never minimize what God can and will do through us when we are willing and obedient to Him.
God can bring a breakthrough this year. He can show Himself to you in ways He never has before. However, we need to realign our hearts with His will and His ways. It is time to say no to other things and say yes to God. You never know what God can do when you dedicate your time to studying the Bible without any distractions, spend intentional time in prayer, and make the effort to sit still and just listen. Sometimes we need to stop asking things from God and simply listen to all that He has to say to us. How blessed we are to serve a God that is more than we could ever ask for.

Querido Padre Celestial,
Thank You for Your promise of the Holy Spirit being poured out on us to experience gifts of prophecy, dreams, and visions. I confess that my spiritual life often seems to fall short of those promises. Yet Your word says to eagerly desire spiritual gifts, especially prophecy. Speak to me, Lord God, through Your Holy Spirit. Give me words of encouragement, exhortation, and comfort, first for myself, and then for others. Let Your gift of prophecy through me encourage many to call on the name of the Lord Jesus and bring forth deliverance for many. Deliver us from the desires of the sinful nature and birth in us the fruit of the Holy Spirit. In the Name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

What do you need to say no to this week in order to say yes to God? How can you carve out extra time to spend in His presence, undistracted? Ask the Holy Spirit to allow you to see more of God in these moments and more importantly magnify Him, thanking Him for His goodness, His love, His faithfulness, and His unfailing grace.
