Spiritual Approach To Spiritual Challenges

Ephesians 6:12-13 (NIV)
“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.”
Devoción
When we face difficulty and uncertainty, it is so easy to place the blame on the people surrounding us and the people closest to us. Whether this is our family, neighbor, or coworker, placing the blame on them and harboring dissension and bitterness is buying into the enemy’s plan.
The enemy wants us to see people as the problem, but the reality is that we fight against forces of evil, not flesh and blood. In the end, it is light versus darkness, and thank God, the light has the victory forever!
It is essential to put on the armor of God and meditate on His Word to combat the lies and attacks of the enemy. This prepares us to stand up when battles come. If we don’t stand for something in this world, we will fall for anything. As for me and my house, we will stand for Jesus.

Querido Padre Celestial,
Thank You for Your Word. I confess I often neglect reading it, hearing it, speaking it, and living it. Show me how my neglect of Your Word has resulted in the devil's schemes being active in my life. Show me how to renew my commitment and thus the power of Your armor in my life and spiritual battles. As I read, study, and memorize Your Word, help me to be transformed by its power through the renewing of my mind. In the Name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

If every Bible was taken away from us tomorrow, how much scripture would you know? Knowing the Bible allows you to take a stand for truth. Choose one scripture a week and put it on your mirror. Choose one that applies to your life right now. Meditate on that verse for the entire week. Think about it in the car, in your shower, everywhere. Do this every week and see how much scripture you will hide in your heart. Allow scripture to soak into you, and pour it out in conversation with others!
