Season Of Shifting
Friday, January 31
Isaiah 51:11 (NLT)
“Those who have been ransomed by the LORD will return. They will enter Jerusalem singing, crowned with everlasting joy. Sorrow and mourning will disappear, and they will be filled with joy and gladness.”
Devoción
In this season of fasting and prayer the Holy Spirit is bringing a new word, a new expectation. Can you feel that we are being called to a higher standard? There is a shifting in the air, a call to transition, as Pastor Jentezen preached this past Sunday, it is time to put our shoes on.
Putting your shoes on is a symbolic reference of preparing ourselves for the new season ahead! God is doing a new thing, Isaiah 43:19 “For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland”. We need to perceive the time we are living in. We need to believe that no matter what we are facing, we do not need to be afraid because God promises to be with us, to strengthen us, and uphold us in this new season. Are you ready? Have you prepared?
It is time to leave behind past hurts, shame, doubts, and trials. 1 John 4:4 says it this way “You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.”
It is time to set higher goals and believe that what God is doing in you and through you is so much more than you have hoped for or dare to imagine. You just need to believe and have faith.
Start believing God for those children that have strayed from the path God has called them to walk. Trust that God has your back and is fighting your battles! In Jesus' name this is a season of deliverance, breakthrough, and restoration. Your time of sorrow will disappear and the season is almost over! Expect the unexpected! Receive the joy of your salvation, the gladness of being a child of a wonderful, compassionate God.
Oración de hoy
Querido Padre Celestial,
We praise You and thank You for our past battles and seasons of difficulty, for in those seasons You have been sharpening our faith, giving us endurance for this time of shifting. We recognize Your mighty hand at work in our lives. We trust You will position us in the right place at the right time, for us to give You the very best we have. We are hearing Your call to walk in obedience to Your Word. Give us the wisdom, knowledge and understanding we need. Help us see You in every step of faith we take. In the Name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
