Rejoice! Messiah is Coming!

Zechariah 9:9 (NKJV)

“Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King is coming to you; He is just and having salvation, Lowly and riding on a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey.”

Devoción

Imagine this: Jesus, the Messiah, riding on a colt—a foal of a donkey. The King of kings and Lord of lords on a donkey’s baby? What irony!

Jesus, the Son of the living God—God Himself in flesh—forsook His divinity and walked humbly in submission to the will of the Father.

With no frills, no fireworks, not even a proper saddle, just a colt—never ridden by anyone—for the King of the Universe! He humbled Himself—even to death on the cross—to seek and save the lost!

God in flesh came down from heaven to save you. No matter where you are or what you have done, no matter how far you’ve strayed or how deep you are in, Jesus is coming to get you out. He is coming to save you—even from yourself! And just when the whole world seems against you, He is there to rescue you. You only need to call upon His name: “Lord Jesus, save me!”

Querido Padre Celestial,

I am in awe of You! You are majestic in all the earth! While I marvel at the greatness of the universe, “You came from heaven to earth, to the cross, where You paid for my debts. From the grave to the sky, Lord, I lift Your name on high!" I thank and praise You, Lord, for all Your lovingkindness. I love You and magnify Your holy name. I just want to praise and thank You all the days of my life! You have made me glad and have redeemed my life from the pit. And when all else seems lost, You are there to give me hope for my future! So, thank You, Lord Jesus! In the Name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

We have so much to thank and praise God for. He humbled Himself to give us everlasting life! He obeyed the Father and gave His life so that we may live. He took upon Himself the iniquity of us all. Such a thought is too marvelous to comprehend. Take the time to worship the Lord for His amazing love.
