Reflecting The Image Of Christ

“So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.”

Genesis 1:27 reminds us that every human being was created in the image of God. This gives us dignity, value, and purpose. As followers of Christ, we are called to reflect His character and make His light visible in a world that desperately needs Him.

Our main work is to advance the Kingdom of God and stand against the works of darkness. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8), and He has called His people to continue making His Kingdom known through the gospel, truth, love, and right living.

Before we speak or act, we can ask ourselves, “If Jesus were here with me, what would He do?” Would He show compassion? Would He forgive? Would He speak truth with love? Would He reach out to the hurting and forgotten? Our lives should give people a genuine picture of who Jesus is.

The world needs to encounter the compassionate and unconditional love of Christ through us. Every time we show mercy, stand for truth, help someone in need, forgive, encourage, or share the gospel, we are bringing the light of Christ into places where darkness has taken hold.

We were created in God's image, and through Christ, we are called to reflect His light. May our lives demonstrate the love of Jesus, advance His Kingdom, and push back the works of darkness wherever God has placed us.

Help us to reflect Your image in everything we say and do. Fill us with Your love, compassion, truth, and grace. Use our lives to shine Your light, encourage others, and advance Your Kingdom wherever You have placed us. May people see more of You through us each day. In the Name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
