Can you imagine the chaos the “worrying” disciples felt when Jesus told them to feed over 20,000 people with only two fish and five loaves? Even if they had enough food, the thought of serving so many had to be overwhelming!

Notice though, that before any miracle occurred, Jesus began bringing order to the situation with instructions to break the crowd into smaller, more manageable groups. As the chaos of the noisy, mobile crowd was settling, the stage was being set for a mighty miracle.

What about you? What chaos is crowding your mind? What order needs to come into your life? Like the disciples, take it to the Savior, listen to and obey His instructions, and receive your miracle.  

Querido Padre Celestial,

I give you praise for always being with me, even during those chaotic moments when it is impossible for my mind to perceive my awaiting miracle. I ask that you calm the noise and turbulence that overwhelms my thoughts. Help me to quickly remember to take my worries to You and follow Your instructions, as I await. Amen!

At some point today, get alone with God and talk to Him about what is troubling you. Yes, He knows, but let Him hear your heart. Then, obey His promptings and find rest in the hope He gives.
