Make Hay While The Sun Shines

John 9:4-5
"I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world."
Devoción
When farmers have work to do but see a storm coming, they work hard to gather the harvest to “make hay while the sun shines.” We are living in the last days before the return of Jesus, more difficult times are coming. Like Jesus, God is sending each of us to work, serve, and pray while it is still day.
When Jesus said this, he had just given sight to a man who never had it because he was born blind. As followers of Jesus, we are told, “What no eye has seen...God has prepared for those who love him.” (1 Corinthians 2:9) He is the God who gives us what we never had before.
