Living In The End Times

Colossians 3:23 (NKJV)
“And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men,”
Devoción
We are living in a time when the return of Jesus is anticipated and it is essential to start living a life dedicated to God. To prepare for Jesus’ imminent return, we must accept him into our lives as our personal Savior. In order to mature in him, we should search out ways we can draw closer to him and carry out his goodwill. He doesn’t want anyone to perish but desires we all make Heaven our home.
As we find ourselves living in the end times, it is more important than ever that we resist all temptations that take our hearts and minds off him. Let us purpose in our hearts to truly live our lives for Jesus, giving him every part of ourselves. Let us live every day as if it is the day Jesus is returning to take us home.

Querido Padre Celestial,
I confess that I am wretched, pitiful, poor, blind, and naked. Thank You for the Lord Jesus, his sacrifice, and the Holy Spirit that can open my eyes to my true condition. I don't feel ready for persecution or trouble. I am undisciplined, and I don't love Jesus with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength, much less do I love my neighbor as myself. Help me to trust that by the blood of Jesus, You can make me ready. And when I receive Your power and blessing, help me never think for a microsecond that I have anything that You did not give me so that I can be humble and fruitful in setting an example for others to follow as I follow Jesus. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen

Currently, in the United States, the average life expectancy is between 70 and 80 years (consistent with Psalm 90:10). Do the math. How many do you have left, statistically speaking? None of us knows the exact amount of time we have before we meet Jesus, but we must take account. Do not be fearful. Rather, let this realization encourage you to make good use of the time (Ephesians 5:16).
