Yahweh had promised Abraham that “all the peoples of the earth will be blessed through you” and that He would bless those who blessed Abraham and his descendants. Through Israel, God showed His wisdom to the nations and ultimately brought forth Jesus as the Jewish Messiah and savior of the world. Those who trust in Jesus and receive the blessings of Jesus' death and resurrection are indeed sharing in the Jews spiritual blessings.

How are you blessing the Jews and their homeland of Israel? Are you aware of how political candidates have treated Jews and the nation of Israel in the past? Do you pray for the peace of Jerusalem, as Scripture instructs? Are you sharing your material blessings with the Jews and/or Israel? Are you an advocate for Jews and the nation of Israel in your sphere of influence?

If you are a US citizen or a citizen in another democratic republic, the responsibility for government decisions and actions does not stop with the elected officials. US citizens are the real human authority in the policies and decisions of their government in every matter, from protecting the unborn- shedding innocent blood (through abortion), to whether the US comes under a blessing from blessing Israel or a curse from cursing Israel.

Querido Padre Celestial,

I thank You for the nation of Israel and all the blessings we have received through them. I pray that You bring peace to Jerusalem and all of Israel during these tumultuous times. I pray for a divine shield of protection and blessings upon them. 

Lord, deal with the hearts of Your people and help us all to vote according to the party and individuals that most align with Your ways. Help us all to know that we cannot vote for those who vote for issues which You condemn, such as abortion, the LGBTQ agenda, and anything else that is sin. Help us to stand firm on Biblical principles and return this nation to You. In the Name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Study the political leaders who vote for and against those issues that God calls sin. Seek which politicians have stood with Israel and which have not. Be determined to align your vote with God’s word this November.
