Genesis 7:1-3 (NKJV)
“Then the LORD said to Noah, “Come into the ark, you and all your household, because I have seen that you are righteous before Me in this generation. You shall take with you seven each of every clean animal, a male and his female; two each of animals that are unclean, a male and his female; also seven each of birds of the air, male and female, to keep the species alive on the face of all the earth.”
Devoción
We see in today’s passage, God’s provision to preserve each species after the flood. But that was not all. Because of His incredible love and mercy towards mankind, He designed a way to redeem mankind from sin, so we could be with Him forever. He would provide a substitutionary sacrifice.
In Genesis chapter 7, we see the 7th animal of each clean species being brought onto Noah’s ark. This animal’s sole purpose was to be used as a sin offering after the flood. For according to the old law, without the shedding of blood, there was no remission (forgiveness) for sin. (Hebrews 9:22)
But this sin offering was temporary – it had to be done time and time again because of man’s sinful nature.
Generations later, God sent His only Son into the world to be the ultimate sacrifice for sin - once and for all. “Therefore, when He came into the world, He said, ‘Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but a body You have prepared for Me… By that will we have been sanctified (made holy) through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.” (Hebrews 10:5,6,10)
The sacrifice Jesus made was so powerful, “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.” (Romans 10:9,10)
This was no ordinary sacrifice, but God, Himself resurrected from the dead!
For those who have called upon His name, we shall live with Him forever. “…your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.” (Colossians 3:3,4)
For those who don’t know him yet, there is still time - to be introduced to the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. Your sins can be forgiven, and you can receive eternal life through faith in Christ.
Oración de hoy
Querido Padre Celestial,
I cannot even begin to imagine the pain of offering one’s child on behalf of others. I honor and praise You for the sacrifice of Your only Son on my behalf. Please forgive me when I have failed to honor You and Your Son. I don’t want to trample on the precious blood of Jesus anymore. Please help me to live worthy of that sacrifice in my daily life. I commit to studying Your Word and to spending time with You each day, so that I may walk in Your way. Make me a vessel of honor to be used by You, for Your Kingdom purpose. In the Name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Family is important to God just like a marriage it needs to be worked on every day. Here are key elements in building a peaceful home life: work on the relationships between your family members, and strive to create an atmosphere of the home itself. Plan on ways to organize your home to make it your Garden. A garden, filled with communication, respect, values, and most of all love.
The key word here is unity! When a family shares principles and values, they grow together. That does not mean there will not be bumps along the way. But family is worth the work, effort, and time you put into it.
