Revelation 22:21 (NKJV)

“The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.”

Devoción

Isn’t it beautiful that the final words of the Bible are a blessing and not a threat or curse? The Old Testament ends with the word “curse,” but the New Testament, after all the thunder, ends with the grace of Jesus Christ. It says, “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.” A simple yet very powerful concluding sentence. These words remind us that no matter what we go through in this world or how badly we mess up, the story will not end with a curse, threat, or warning; it will always end with grace.

The Bible tells us that God’s grace is greater than our failures, deeper than our brokenness, and powerful enough to bring us back to Him when we have wandered away. We all have moments in our lives when we fail, make wrong choices, and fall into temptation again. Those are the moments when we fall into the enemy’s trap of shame, constant guilt, and fear, thinking, “How can I fail and disappoint God AGAIN?” That shame tries to convince us to hide from God, just like Adam and Eve, who hid themselves and tried to cover their shame in their own strength with very stiff, rough, and uncomfortable fig leaves.

But that’s where the grace of our loving God stepped in. Even after the disobedience and the failure, how did God clothe them? Genesis 3:21 says, “The Lord made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them.” This reminds us that our sin cannot defeat God’s grace. However, at the same time, grace is not an excuse to live a sinful life. Our failures are real, but so is God’s grace. His grace will meet us all in the very place where we have failed and will begin a work of restoration.

Querido Padre Celestial,

Thank You for Your amazing grace that meets me in my failures and restores me when I fall. Help me turn away from sin, receive Your forgiveness, and walk in obedience to You. When shame tries to make me hide from You, remind me that Your grace is greater than my failures. Carry me to the end, and help me live a life that honors You. In the Name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
