Philippians 4:19 (NLT)
“And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.”
Devoción
In the movie "The Boys in The Boat," we witness an incredible story of perseverance, teamwork, and faith. The rowing team faced numerous challenges on their journey to the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Among these challenges was a significant financial hurdle. Just when it seemed impossible for them to raise the necessary funds, provision came through in the final moments from the least expected source. This pivotal point in their journey reminds us of the profound truth found in Philippians 4:19, “God will provide for all our needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.”
Often, we find ourselves in situations where the resources we need are beyond our reach. Just like the rowing team, we might be tempted to lose hope as the deadline approaches. However, God’s timing is perfect. He knows our needs even before we do, and He is always working behind the scenes to provide for us in ways that exceed our understanding. When we trust in His timing, we experience His faithfulness and provision.
The rowing team's unity and collective trust in one another and their cause were crucial to their success. In our lives, maintaining unity and trusting in God's plan are essential. When we come together in prayer, support each other, and rely on God's promises, we create an environment where God's provision can manifest powerfully. Unity in the body of Christ attracts God's blessings and opens doors for His miraculous provision.
If you are currently facing a need, bring it before God in prayer, trusting that He will meet it according to His riches in glory. Remember, God is never late. His provision may come in the eleventh hour, but it will always be right on time.
Oración de hoy
Querido Padre Celestial,
Thank You for Your precious promise to supply all my needs. I confess when deadlines pass and opportunities are missed, I often feel let down. Rather than being content and thankful that You used circumstances to close doors to something outside of Your will, I lament. Help me to see ahead of time the differences between my wants and my real needs. Help me to trust fully that God's work done in God's way will not want for God's supply. In the Name of Jesus, I Pray. Amen.

Does trusting in God’s provision mean we do nothing in the meantime? Not usually. We obey, we work, we pray, we trust, God will provide. He will make provision for His vision.
