God’s Power And Plan

Luke 5:13-17 ESV
And Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, “I will; be clean.” And immediately the leprosy left him. And he charged him to tell no one, but “go and show yourself to the priest, and make an offering for your cleansing, as Moses commanded, for a proof to them.” But now even more the report about him went abroad, and great crowds gathered to hear him and to be healed of their infirmities. But he would withdraw to desolate places and pray. On one of those days, as he was teaching, Pharisees and teachers of the law were sitting there, who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea from Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was with him to heal.”
Devoción
The Lord has a plan for each of us from the time we are in the womb. He intimately knows every single small detail about us. He sent us the most precious gift of all time, His Son Jesus, who willingly took upon the sin of the world so that we might have everlasting life if we choose to follow him.
Even if we have a past that we are ashamed of, even if we have done things that, in our minds, are unforgivable, Jesus is extending his hand towards us. He is offering us a new life with him where all our sins are forgiven, and our sin-stained past is wiped clean. He is offering us a chance to be made clean and experience the life-altering healing that he is able to perform in each of our lives.
Oración de hoy
Querido Padre Celestial,
I thank You that Jesus bled from his brow to heal my will, from his head to heal my mind, and from his body to heal my body. I confess I don't even have a good understanding of all the ways I need healing and forgiveness. I am poor, pitiful, wretched, blind, and naked. Father, apply the blood of Jesus to my miserable state, set my feet upon the rock, and put me to work for Jesus and his kingdom. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen

What would your answer be if Jesus asked, “What do you want me to do for you?” Take a moment to consider, then humble yourself and tell him now. Don’t be ashamed to say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”
