Don’t give up on your dreams or goals. Nothing is impossible with God. In the movie A Million Miles Away, José was fascinated by the stars and dreamed of becoming an astronaut. Even though he was the son of migrant workers, he kept his dream alive. His teacher told him he was a force of nature and that nothing could stop him.

Believe in yourself and in the dreams God has placed in your heart. If it is His will for you, He will make a way and bring it to pass.

Pastor Jentezen said in his sermon that it doesn’t matter if you’re 16 or 60 — do your work for God with excellence and go the extra mile. He’ll make a way in spite of your circumstances. José’s parents were told by his teacher that constantly moving wouldn’t help him grow. They had to change their ways so he could learn. Likewise, you will never grow deep roots if you keep moving or constantly changing direction.

If you have God’s favor, He will open doors and reveal things others can’t see. But you need to do three things: surrender, sacrifice, and persevere. Surrender your plans and let Him take control. Be willing to make sacrifices to reach your goal. Persevere no matter how difficult it gets. Don’t compromise and later regret it — stand firm in your faith. Do the hard things and trust God with the rest.

Keep going, and you will see breakthroughs. True surrender says, “I will go anywhere, do anything, at any time.” Be faithful, and you will be blessed in due time.

Querido Padre Celestial,

Thank You for the dreams and desires You’ve placed in my heart. I pray that Your favor would rest upon me and establish the work of my hands. Help me to surrender my plans to You, to make the sacrifices necessary, and to persevere when it gets hard. Give me courage to stand firm in faith and to do my work with excellence, trusting that You will affirm and bless it in Your perfect timing. In the Name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

 

Write down one area where you need to surrender, one sacrifice you can make, and one way you can persevere through a current challenge. Pray over these daily, trusting God to establish the work of your hands.
