God Is The Sustainer Of Dreams

Genesis 42:6-9 NIV
Now Joseph was the governor of the land, the person who sold grain to all its people. So when Joseph’s brothers arrived, they bowed down to him with their faces to the ground. As soon as Joseph saw his brothers, he recognized them, but he pretended to be a stranger and spoke harshly to them. “Where do you come from?” he asked. “From the land of Canaan,” they replied, “to buy food.” Although Joseph recognized his brothers, they did not recognize him. Then he remembered his dreams about them and said to them, “You are spies! You have come to see where our land is unprotected.”
Devoción
Today's verse was the fulfillment of a dream that Joseph had long forgotten, a dream that his brothers once hated him for. For over 20 years, he had gone through many trials (betrayal, heartache, deceit, lies, imprisonment, loneliness, to name a few). He had helped others with their dreams. Finally, God positioned and equipped him for his dream to be fulfilled. In that moment, his brothers bowed before him, and Joseph remembered the dream. He had come to a place in time that God destined for him, for the saving of many peoples of the earth—including his family.

Has God dropped a dream in your heart? God does not just give dreams; He sustains those dreams and brings them to pass! Let your faith be stirred up! Let that dream that has been in the recesses of your heart and mind come forward and live again! God can equip and position you so that the dream He put in your heart can become a reality. Don't let the enemy hinder and delay that dream any longer! We do not know how our dreams will impact others. God's dream that He gave to Joseph was more than his brothers bowing before Joseph. It was more than Joseph enjoying palace living. It was about God bringing salvation to Joseph's family and to nations!
