God is For You

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

Devoción

The Apostle Paul uses today’s verse to illustrate the essence of the gospel (love). God has loved us enough to give us Jesus, the ultimate promise of redemption and true life. God’s help is a lasting promise, and His sovereignty and ability to manage every aspect of our lives is a reality! Only He has the ability to work all things for good and to see us through in every season of our lives. Good or not so good, what the enemy intends for evil, God will turn to good. It’s a promise we can rely on. God has made it a point to highlight this important theme throughout Scripture: salvation, justification, and provision. It’s just what God does because He is a good Father!

God knows every aspect of your life and is more than capable of managing its affairs because you are called according to His purpose! Though we must face the sufferings of this present time, the Apostle Paul reminds us in Romans 8:18: “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.” God is able to make even those sufferings work together for our good and His good. No matter where you are in your faith, God will meet you where you are at. 

You are God’s masterpiece, and He has given you His Word as a testimony of the love and joy He has for you. God rejoices over you and is transforming your life to reflect His goodness to others. He has an awesome plan for your life. You are not yet who you will be when you step into the eternal presence of God. Until that time, He is patiently molding and shaping you into the image of His Son. Therefore, you never have a reason to give up. If you are going through a difficult season in life, remember that His promises are faithful and true.

Zephaniah 3:17“The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”

Querido Padre Celestial,

We praise You, Creator of the Universe, for Your compassion and great love for us, Your people. How amazing that no matter what season of life we are in, You are always there for us to guide our steps in life. Father, please help us realize what is important in life and how to treasure You more each and every day; to trust You in every season, no matter what we are going through. In the Name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
