God Brings Us Through And Over

2 Samuel 22:30 AMPC
For by you I can run against a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall.
Devoción
These words are not just positive affirmations. These words are King David’s testimony of God’s help and victory. Like David, we should humble ourselves and cry out to Yahweh for help in overwhelming circumstances. We may feel cords entangling us and pulling us toward death and despair, but God hears the cries of those who belong to Him and brings deliverance.

But wait, there’s more! Moving forward, we need to choose not to be confined or defined by past trauma. In Psalm 124, David compared himself to a bird escaping from a cage that God broke open. Jesus said that He came that we may have life in all its fullness (John 10:10). We need to choose and ask God to bring us to a place of freedom and stability, as He did for David (2 Samuel 22:20, 34).

Querido Padre Celestial,
like King David, we seek Your help and victory. Hear our cries in difficult times and deliver us from despair. Guide us to break free from past traumas and lead us to a life of fullness and stability through Your grace. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Looking back, we may recognize dangerous situations that could have destroyed us had God not helped (Psalm 124). Praise Jesus! Choose to trust and cry out to Jesus to get through each challenge. Then choose to get over it, and receive peace and freedom through His Name.
