Get Ready, Change Is In The Air

Acts 12:8 (NIV)
“Then the angel said to him, “Put on your clothes and sandals.” And Peter did so. “Wrap your cloak around you and follow me,” the angel told him.”

God was about to create a supernatural exit. Peter, having been arrested, was heavily guarded in prison. He would be brought before the people to be judged, but constant prayer had been offered by the saints, and in the middle of the night, an angel of the Lord appeared. He struck Peter on the side to awaken him and told him to get dressed and follow him, because the angel was about to make a move. Together, they supernaturally walked past guard posts until they came to the gates that led to the city. Yes, those gates - that left prison and chains behind, and opened to the city where he would walk freely.

In Sunday’s service, Pastor Franklin prophesied we were entering into a new season. The last page of the previous chapter has turned. The old is now gone. Get your faith ready, make provision for the new. Put your shoes on – and get ready to walk into the paths He has provided. God is about to make His move!
Isaiah 42:9 says, “Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them.” God is telling us now. Observe closely and pray. Pray for discernment in timing and judgment, for in this season, it will certainly reveal His purpose. (Ecclesiastes 8:5,6)
In God’s sovereignty, He will break forth suddenly like the morning. So, leave the past behind you and don’t look back. It’s time now to embrace the new.

“Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:18,19
Says the God of the Impossible!

Oración de hoy

Querido Padre Celestial,
I confess that I often hope and pray for miracles like Peter's rescue from prison, but the trouble I get into is often of my own making and errors rather than being pure and diligent about my Father's business as Peter was. Show me how to seek and serve Your kingdom and Your righteousness, so that in my future troubles and woes, my conscience will be clear and I can expect the same kind of miracle You provided for Peter. In the Name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Identify one area of spiritual preparation God wants you to make for when the door to a new season or a new opportunity is open. If you think, “I know, but …” pause, and go back to the “I know” part of that reaction and prepare as God has shown you.
