Find Your Meaning, By Serving

Sunday, September 10

1 Peter 4:9-10 NKJV
Be hospitable to one another without grumbling. As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
Devoción
Don't squander the grace bestowed upon you through the work of Jesus Christ. Today’s verse encourages us to demonstrate what He has done by serving others. Consider the place you are as the place God has put you to share your grace. Nothing goes to waste in His kingdom (Ephesians 4:15-16).

Utilize the gifts He has given you to bless others. For instance, you can share your material resources, your time and attention, or offer private intercession for people God has placed in your life or under your authority. God desires to use you as a vessel of grace in someone's life. Don't conceal your light; let it shine! By serving, you can also find purpose in knowing that God pays attention to your work and the love you show for His name as you serve others (Hebrews 6:10).

Oración de hoy
Querido Padre Celestial,
We thank you for Your material provision and spiritual gifts. Open our eyes and show us how to be hospitable to both brethren and strangers. Help us emulate Rebekah who answered Abraham's servant, “Drink and I'll water your camels too.” Remind us through Your Holy Spirit, and let us not hesitate to share the blessings You have provided. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Write down a few practical things you can do with what you have to demonstrate hospitality or serve others. Choose one to do within the next week. Try something different the following week, and allow the Holy Spirit to guide your steps in finding ways to be a vessel of grace.
