Faith That Hears and Obeys God’s Voice
Saturday, November 15
Hebrews 4:2 (NKJV)
“For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.”
Devoción
The Word of God is powerful. His Word heals, restores, and makes us whole. In the name of Jesus, demons flee! By speaking God’s Word to the lost and dying, they are set free and live again! Faith is activated when we hear God’s Word and obey His gentle prompting. It is not enough to just know about His Word. We must live it. We must use it. We must obey God and activate our faith to experience its power to transform our lives!
Why do people struggle to obey God’s Word? Why do we sometimes fail to do what we ought to do? Why do we keep failing and keep falling short? Why is it so hard to live “righteously”?
Our righteousness comes by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, not by works, not by our own abilities. It is when we receive God’s Word fully and completely, by faith, that our miracles happen. When we hear Him, obey Him, and live by faith and not by sight, the righteousness of God is activated in our lives, and His power transforms us, from strength to strength and from glory to glory.
Today, if you hear His voice, yield! Surrender Your will to the Father! Listen to obey God!

Querido Padre Celestial,
I remember how You carried me through all the storms of life. I remember how Your love sustained me in my darkest hour. I remember the many times You comforted me in my times of grief and pain, loss, and bouts of loneliness, and I am forever grateful for the love You have showered on me and my family all these years. Through the highs and lows, You guided me. Through mountaintop victories and deep gorges, You rescued me. Your loving kindness has always drawn me to Yourself, no matter how far I have strayed from You. Thank You. In the Name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Be a Spartan whose shield of faith is there to protect and to always be active! Even when death threatens, faith is still the shield to take you home! God has given you the victory. By faith, we are victorious in Christ Jesus—to overcome temptation, to live in His power by His Word, and to claim the promises of God for our family. (Romans 1:17; Habakkuk 2:4b, NKJV)
