Genesis 22:7-8 (NLT)
“Isaac turned to Abraham and said, “Father?” “Yes, my son?” Abraham replied. “We have the fire and the wood,” the boy said, “but where is the sheep for the burnt offering?” “God will provide a sheep for the burnt offering, my son,” Abraham answered. And they both walked on together.”
Devoción
There may come a time when you are fed up with the way things are going in your life. You are tired of the depression, the addiction, and the constant sin that’s running rampant in your life.
This is the case when we try to do things with our own strength instead of trusting that God's grace is sufficient- more than enough. When we don’t acknowledge that God has already provided an offering for us, we continue to live in discouragement.
Enough is enough! We don’t have to live bound to sin. We don’t have to keep living in what Jesus already took to the cross. He has provided a way of escape. Let us lay down our will and allow the Holy Spirit to work in us to remove everything that does not reflect the character of Christ.

Querido Padre Celestial,
Thank You for Your Word today that enough is enough. If I am stuck in my sin, I invite You to show Your love for me through Your hand of discipline, according to Scripture. I surrender my will and leave my sin at the foot of the cross as I should have done long ago. I trust and thank You in advance for answering this prayer. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen

Psalm 107 describes people who find themselves in distress for various reasons – some wandered from God, some were stuck in darkness, some suffered hardships in life, and others suffered for their own foolish choices. What did they have in common? “Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress.” From Abraham and Isaac to the Psalms, to us, Jesus, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, is more than enough. Trust him, being delivered from the evil but familiar way is so much better. Say to Jesus, “I surrender all.”
