In the absence of divine revelation, humans behave according to their wicked nature. Society is drowning in confusion, and not feeling tranquility.

God continued to provide His people with fresh insight throughout the Old Testament. However, we are fortunate to have the Bible, which contains the entirety of God's message, at our disposal. When individuals reject God's word, what is taught during times of fellowship, or when Christians do not seek out God's word for themselves to learn about Him and His ways, then they give up on self-control. 

This implies that they follow their own path instead of applying the word of God. They become lost in their sin, and ultimately, this leads to death and eternal judgment. 

However, as we have the entire Word of God in our hands, we must challenge ourselves to be obedient to His callings and obedient to the will of God. Exceeding joy is guaranteed for those who not only receive divine guidance from the Lord, but those who also take heed to follow through with His word and His law. 

Querido Padre Celestial,

I thank You that I have Your divine revelation within my reach each day. Thank You for providing Your words of wisdom for me to follow. Help me to be ever mindful that all I need to do is reach for Your Word and search out the answers I need for every area of life. I don’t want to fall into sin just because I fail to seek out the divine revelation that is within my reach. I love You, Father. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
