Leviticus 14:43 -44,49 (ESV)

“If the disease breaks out again in the house, after he has taken out the stones and scraped the house and plastered it, then the priest shall go and look. And if the disease has spread in the house, it is a persistent leprous disease in the house; it is unclean. And for the cleansing of the house he shall take two small birds, with cedarwood and scarlet yarn and hyssop,”

In a recent visit to the kitchen counter, someone went to dispense water from a jug to satisfy a thirst that had taken over in a mighty way. As the water released from the spout, a few spots could be seen at the bottom of the jug. Looking closer, there were spot after spot after spot settled at the bottom of the jug. Who wants to drink contaminated water—water with green growth at the bottom of the jug?

The jug had not been used; not a drop had been released from the spout in days. No stirring of the water had occurred for many days. In addition, high temperatures in the space had caused the growth at the bottom of the jug. How is this possible? It is possible when there is neglect of stirring and use, which allows disease to show up.

God wants His glory to be released in our spaces, as noted in Isaiah 4 in Pastor Jentzen's message. God wants more than just the presence of His glory—just water in the jug. He wants the presence of His glory upon our dwelling places. We are called to release His glory upon our spaces, to stir up the flow by activating the Spirit of God, and keep the green spots from building up at the bottom of the jug, bringing rot into the water, where there was no activity taking place.

Leviticus 14:43–44 reminds us to inspect our spaces with the Holy Ghost and remove all the junk creeping in. We are the priests of our homes and our spaces. We need to consecrate our spaces to honor and serve the Lord Jesus Christ. Take authority and battle in worship unto the Almighty Father of Heaven and Earth.

Leviticus 14:49 confirms how necessary it is to cleanse our spaces, revisit our hearts, and revisit the nooks and crannies in our spaces. Step into the authority and command the blessings of the Lord to remain in our spaces. Keep the jugs clean, stirred, and used frequently so they remain filled with clean water. Letting them sit in the heat will bring disease and open doors of darkness to step in.

Take a stand in Christ Jesus and cry out, “HELP!” Release the unforgiveness, release the bitterness, release the streaks of ungodly behaviors, and get the anointing stirred up. Invite the Holy Spirit to stir up the foundation of your home and cover your dwelling. Cover your family with the blood of Jesus, and watch the power of the Father move.

Oración de hoy

Querido Padre Celestial,

Have mercy upon our uncleanness and help us to call the priest of our homes to cleanse our spaces. May we call out the streaks and the green spots that are trying to grow around us and command them to flee. Thank You for Your grace that surrounds us in our imperfections. God, bless us and bless our households, for You are for us, and nothing else will stand against us. In the Name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
