One way to stay encouraged in your faith is to stay connected with a community of believers who can pray for you and support you. Because you cannot live a life full of faith alone. It’s just not possible to do it without support. Not only do we need support and accountability, but it took all of Israel to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem after the exile. It takes people of faith to keep you living for God.

It also takes consistent time both in God’s word and in prayer. When you spend time with Him daily; you become aligned with His will for you, and you begin to see things from a biblical perspective and this changes things in your life. As you pray how the spirit leads you to pray; you get your mind off of your circumstances and on the only one who delivers you. When this happens, you endeavor to help others. 

Our Lord wants us to build up each other because it is something that He has instructed us to do in His word. He also wants us to hear and obey His Word as it is being preached or taught. We cannot look to the Lord if we are looking at our feet or thinking about ourselves and having a pity party. Those who look to the Lord will be radiant when they trust Him. Because without Him, we will not be able to rebuild what has been destroyed by the enemy. Because greater is He who is in us than He who is in the world. He is the vine, and we are the branches. We have no life outside of Him. We need to stay close to Him and each other in order to grow in the faith.

Querido Padre Celestial,

I ask Your forgiveness for the times I have been solely focused on my problems and have forgotten about all that You so faithfully do for me each day. Help me to focus on the good and to continually give You praise for those things. May I look to others who possibly have needs greater than mine and lift them to You in prayer and be a witness to them in word and deed. Use me as a conduit between You and others. In the Name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

What do you complain about most in your life? Offer it to God in prayer to do with as He wills, then offer Him praise and thanksgiving for all the blessings He has so richly bestowed upon you. Think of the answered prayers and the times He stepped in when you failed to pray and offer Him your highest praise.
