Do not allow complacency to cause you to forget the Lord is coming soon. The signs are there and we can see them. For too long, Christians have been slack in doing God’s will, thinking they had plenty of time. Now prophecy is being fulfilled before our eyes. The prophet Ezekiel wrote about these times.

Revelation 22:20 says, “He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.” Claim victory in every area of your life before it’s too late. If you are not careful, you may be unprepared for the return of the Lord. Keep your spiritual eyes open and let nothing come between you and Jesus. Don't allow sin and discouragement to dampen your faith.

When Jesus comes, he will have his rewards with him – do not miss out (Isaiah 40:10)! Be ready, he is coming soon. Respond to this as Revelation 22:20 says, “Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.”

Querido Padre Celestial,

I thank You that Jesus bled and died for our sins and rose from the dead. Thank You that Jesus will appear a second time, returning to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him. I confess there is much in Scripture and much in the news that I do not understand – so many voices. Help me be ready. Show me the things at the top of Your priority list for me. What do I need to stop doing? What do I need to start doing? Guide me by your Holy Spirit and by Scripture. Help me Lord, I cannot do this without your help. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen

After prayer, consider one way you would want to be more prepared than you are at this moment if Jesus returned today. Not just becoming more busy, but more ready to meet Jesus. Did the Holy Spirit show you something while you were praying? Start doing that, be faithful to incorporate that area of preparation into your regular routine, and have peace in obedience.
