“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

Be the Light of the World. As people of God, we must be self-disciplined, for we are the light of the world. We should be models for others by walking under God’s direction. When we behave rightly, we become guides for children and examples for those who follow.
Even though we live in a world filled with violence, in nations in decline, and within empires losing their moral compass, we must remain faithful teachers. In the late Middle Ages, some Church practices, such as the selling of indulgences and the limited access to Scripture in Latin, obscured God’s truth from many people. Martin Luther, a man well-equipped and grounded in God’s Word, helped bring light to God’s people by making Scripture accessible and pointing them back to the truth of God’s Word.
Today, we are called to do the same: to stand firm in the truth, to teach with humility, and to shine with integrity in every area of life. Let our words and actions reflect the character of Christ so that others may find the path of righteousness through our example. The world may be dark, but the light within us must never fade.

Querido Padre Celestial,
Thank You for the sacrifices, the long-suffering, and the courage it took to get the Word of God into my hands. As those who have gone before me, help me to stand in Your truth and to be a living testament of Your Word. I ask You to teach me how to eat honey from the rock, to dig for the life-transforming treasures found in the Word of God, so that they infiltrate everything that I am and do. Cause me to shine Your light and to be the person You have created me to be. In the Name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
