“To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.”

Devoción

Praise can be expressed verbally, physically, and through the way we live. In our praise to God, we express deep admiration, gratitude, honor, and reverence toward Him for who He is and for what He has done.
Psalm 47:1 calls us to praise God with “the voice of triumph.” Our praise is directed toward the God who is victorious, sovereign, and King over all the earth.
We worship God because of who He is. Our worship should not be dependent upon our circumstances. Whether we are experiencing good seasons or difficult seasons in our lives, we can praise God and give Him the glory due unto His name because He is worthy. The circumstances around us may change, but God does not change.

He is still on the throne.

He is still God.

He is still King above all.

He is still worthy to be praised.

So whether you have received a bad report from a doctor, experienced a broken heart, are under severe trials, are going through tribulation, or life is simply not going the way you would have wanted it to go, you are still called to praise God.
It doesn’t mean we don’t acknowledge our hurt and pain. It means that, even in our hurt and pain, we acknowledge our God and refuse to let the circumstances of this life silence our praise to our King and God.
We can go through the trials of life and still clap our hands and shout unto God with a voice of triumph because He is glorious. He is magnificent. He is forgiving. He is holy. He is loving. He is ever-giving and ever-living. He is God, and He is seated upon the throne.

Querido Padre Celestial,

We praise You because You are still God, still King, and still worthy, regardless of what we face. Help us to praise You in every season and to lift our voices in triumph even when circumstances are difficult. May our worship never be silenced by our trials. In the Name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
