A Memorial Before The Lord

Acts 10:4 (NKJV)
“And when he observed him, he was afraid, and said, “What is it, lord?” So he said to him, “Your prayers and your alms have come up for a memorial before God.”
Devoción
We serve a God who sees the unseen. Nothing goes unnoticed by our Heavenly Father. Our acts of generosity and kindness are seen by our intentional God, and are a pleasing aroma to Him. He honors them and values them.
However, if we boast and tell everyone of our good deeds, we have already received our reward. We should earnestly await our Heavenly rewards as we act generously and give out of the abundance that God has given to us. Cornelius’ giving was a reflection of his heart. He gave what he could even if that was different from what others were giving during that time period.
God sees the motives of our heart. When we give freely of our time, our money, our resources, and our encouragement, God blesses us and is honored. Give what you have, and watch God use what you have to point others to His heart.

Querido Padre Celestial,
I thank You for always noticing what others may never see or acknowledge. I praise You that You are faithful to reward me when I humble myself and do what is pleasing to You. Lord, I long to honor You through intentional generous giving of my time, talents, resources, and love, without expecting or desiring accolades from others. I praise You for taking care of me while I remain on this earth, and I anxiously await my Heavenly reward so that I may lay them at Your feet as an act of honor to You. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
