God has a plan for your life and a mission for you to fulfill, but you and your mission are not ready for each other at first. Pursuing a God-given dream is a process that requires surrender to God, sacrifice, and perseverance. 

Surrender: Trying to achieve a God-given dream without Him will lead to chasing fantasies, misdirection, and ultimately, burnout. But, when it comes to God’s children, He will reveal things other people do not see, because you have the help of the Holy Spirit. Ask Him!

Sacrifice: Time, money, and effort are likely required to get the training and experience you need to reach your God-given dream. At each step, do what God told you to do with excellence and continue to go the extra mile. God will place teachers, counselors, and others in your path to help you and to clarify the path forward.

Perseverance: Because of the effort, as well as human and spiritual opposition, at times, we need God to remind us and refresh the dream He gave us. Be assured that God sees the sacrifice. He sees you burning the midnight oil. He promises that at the proper time you will reap a harvest if you do not give up.

Querido Padre Celestial,

Thank You for the dream You have planted in my heart. I choose to trust Your timing and process, even when it’s hard and the harvest feels far away. Help me to surrender fully to Your will, to embrace the sacrifices with joy, and to persevere when I feel weary. Holy Spirit, remind me daily that You are working in ways I cannot see. Strengthen me to keep doing good and to keep moving forward until I see the harvest You have promised. In the Name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
