Childcare Policies

All children must be pre-registered with Discipleship classes and be between the ages of 1 year – 6th grade.
A waiver form is required for every child each session.
We do not provide childcare for children with special needs.
We will not accept children before 6:45pm.
Strollers and baby carriers are not allowed to be left in the classroom or the hallways but can be kept in the KP Discovery office and workroom.
We do not prepare bottles. All bottles must be mixed and warmed when dropping the child off. We do not feed babies baby food.
Children will wash their hands or use hand sanitizer when entering the classroom.
Snacks will be provided by Discipleship classes. Please alert workers of any allergies.
Children will not be permitted to bring food of any kind into the classroom.
Should an emergency arise, the parent will be paged/sent a text message or an administrator will ask the parent to come to the child’s classroom.
All children age 3 or older must be potty trained. If a child 3 years of age or older has an “accident” the parent must come to change him/her.
The KidPak Game Room was designed for children 5 years old and older; therefore no one under the age of 5 will be permitted.
We are unable to care for sick children or administer medication.
No electronics (this includes laptops, iPads, AirPods, iPods, Nintendo Switch, cellphones, etc.) or toys. We are not responsible for any stolen or damaged property.
Children must be picked up immediately following class dismissal.
The sticker must be presented in order to pick up the children.
For the safety of our children, only Discipleship class workers are allowed in the classroom. Parents or siblings will not be permitted to enter the classroom for any reason.
We retain the right to terminate childcare due to excessive classroom disruption, behavior problems, failure to comply with the above policies, etc.

Childcare Release of All Claims

In consideration for being accepted by Free Chapel for participation in this event, we (I), being 21 years of age or older do for ourselves (myself, and for and on behalf of my child – participant,) if said child is not 21 years of age or older, do hereby release, forever discharge, and agree to hold harmless Free Chapel and the directors thereof from any and all liability, claims or demands for personal injury, sickness or death, as well as property damage and expenses, of any nature whatsoever which may be incurred by the undersigned and the child – participant that occurred while said child is participating in the above described activity.

Further, we (I) and on behalf of our (my) child participant, if under the age of 21 years, hereby assume all risk of personal injury, sickness, death, damage and expense as a result of participation in recreation and work activities involved therein.

Furthermore, authorization and permission is hereby given to said church, to furnish any necessary transportation or food for this participant.

The undersigned further hereby agree to hold harmless and indemnify said church, Directors, employees and agents for any liability sustained by such church as the result of the negligent, willful or intentional acts of said participant, including expenses incurred attendant thereto.

If the Participant has not reached 21 years of age:
We (I) are the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) of this participant, and hereby grant our (my) permission for him/her to participate fully in said activity and hereby give our (my) permission to said participant to a doctor or hospital and hereby authorize medical treatment, including but not limited to emergency surgery or medical treatment, and assume the responsibility of all medical bills, if any.

By typing your full name below, you affirm you have read the foregoing and understand the rules of conduct for participants and will abide by them as well as the directions of the Free Chapel leadership. Additionally, I have read and understand the childcare guidelines provided to me and agree to abide by each policy/procedure.
